Strategic Alliance Formed with Mapgistics Inc.

In early 2005 a strategic alliance is signed between MacroHealth Solutions and US based Mapgistics Inc. This alliance will facilitate the joint development and marketing of bed management and geographic information system technologies in both Australia and the USA. This joint strategy will concentrate on developing sustainable, ethical and patient-centric IT solutions for Australia, the United States and Asia.

Strategic Alliance Formed with Vickermann & Associates Asset Management

In mid 2005 a strategic alliance is signed between MacroHealth Solutions and Brisbane based Vickermann and Associates Asset Management (VAAM). VAAM are agents and developers for many RFID technologies and this alliance is seen as a strategic step forward in the ongoing development of MacroHealth Solutions products and services.

Presentation at HIC Conference

In 2009 MacroHealth Solutions co-presented at the HIC (Health Informatics Society of Australia) annual conference in Canberra. Our co- presenters, and one of our current customers, ANZICS (Australia New Zealand Intensive Care Society) delivered an address on Geospatial Solutions for Critical Care Resource Evaluation and Planning. The presentation was very well received and prompted some detailed discussion in relation to the application of GIS technology to the health care environment.

eBeds patient Flow Software deployment

The Princess Alexandra Mental Health unit has chosen to deploy the eBeds Patient Flow Management Software at its 80 bed facility at Annerley. eBeds will promote access to information relating to patient flow and allow enhanced planning and allocation of resources to meet the growing demands on the public health system. This in turn leads to greater efficiencies in hospital operations and an increase in the quality and safety of patient care.
